Getting Started On Neopets

First before you get to play on neopets you will need to make an account start by going here http://www.neopets.com/refer.phtml?username=bella_cullen_1991.

When you first create and verify your Neopets account, It will be in a e-mail neopets sends you. if you want to get anywhere fast, I would suggest going into your Neopets inventory and collecting your freebie pack. This can only be done once. I also suggest opening up a Neopets bank account right away.Now that we have done that we can make our first day on Neopets productive, and learn where the free items are.

This is where you go for your monthly freebies. Make sure you collect them every month. Basically you get 2,000 free Neopoints, and your pets get to pick a free food item that they want. http://www.neopets.com/freebies/

Now no matter where you are on the Neopets site, you can click Explore up at the top of the page, and then you've got a map of Neopia. At the top right, you will see Tyrannia. It's not the snowy mountain, so make sure you click the right spot. Good! Now we are going to click the link up at the top that says Tyrannian Plateau. This is the easy part. Click on the Giant Omelette, and collect your free omelette! Of course you can come back every day for another free omelette, and this is how you feed your pets for free. Sometimes however, you will be told that "The Omelette has gone!", and you will need to just try again later.

Again, let's click on Explore at the top of the Neopets page. Now we are going to click on Mystery Island, which is at the bottom right of the screen. At the bottom of the map you will see the Tombola man next to a sign reading 'Tombola'. When you go here you can win all kinds of really nice free Neopets stuff. Sometimes the Tombola game will tell you "Will be down for an hour or so', in which case you will want to just try back later.

Our next daily freebie will be the Coltzan's Shrine. Let's go back to that Explore button, and then this time we will click on the land down at the bottom left with the pyramids, the Lost Desert. Right at the upper center in this map, click on Coltxan's Shrine. Now 'Approach the shrine' and see what you get!

This next one can give great prizes like morphing potions and special plushies, but on the down side it can also give your pet diseases. So you are going to do this next one at your own discretion. Back to the Explore button at the top, and then we will click on Faerieland in the center. Bottom right is the Wheel of Excitement. Again, this can give you 10 thousand Neopoints or a special item, but it can also disease your pet! It costs 150 Neopoints to spin the wheel.

There are lots of games that you can play daily for Neopoints. Since the Games section has its own button at the top, that doesn't need any explanation. Play as many of the games as you can, make sure you find as many easy and well paying games as you can. Make sure to put your Neopoint earnings into your bank account at the end of the day, so that you can collect your interest the next day when you log in.
